Having a website is like opening a door and inviting potential customers into your business.

So… Why does YOUR business need a website?

Your site communicates with prospects and customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Even when you aren’t at work, your website is. Your customers can get to know you and your products through the website at their convenience. It can be better than passing out your business card to thousands of people.

Expands your reach. People from across the street and across the border have access to your products and services from the comfort of their own space.

Increases the effectiveness of your advertising. Print advertising is static, while the web is dynamic. Once you have a website up and running, we recommend your print advertising include your website address where pictures, text, tables and forms can help you get your message across.

Gathers feedback. Use forms and email to allow your clients to communicate with you.

Communicates effectively. Whether your website is built for customers or employees, web–based communication and email communication are cost–effective and time–saving devices.

It gets you found. Having a well–built website will increase the visibility of your site to the search engines that people use to find what they are looking for. Your specialist should not only offer creative design solutions, but also know how to make your site search engine friendly, so that clients can find you.

Sells directly. E–commerce can dramatically reduce expensive overhead while delivering a 24/7 ‘sales force’. Even if you don’t sell your product online, your website gives you the opportunity to distinguish your company or organization to your client.

Reaching today’s consumer. Today’s emerging generation has never known life without a digital world of connection. According to stats (and who doesn’t like statistics!), in the Philippines there are 38 million out of a population of 100 million Internet users as of mid-2014. Add the growth of social media to that and it becomes evident that without a credible web presence, you don’t exist for an expanding segment of your target market.

Your competitors. The sooner you gain a presence on the web, the better. Your competitors know this too. Increasingly, your clients (and potential clients) are making their decisions based on the standard of your website. A usable and engaging website can help to level the playing field between small and large companies.

Logos are a critical aspect of business marketing. As the company's major graphical representation, a logo anchors a company's brand and becomes the single most visible manifestation of the company within the target market. For this reason, a well-designed logo is an essential part of any company's overall marketing strategy.

Purpose
Corporate logos are intended to be the "face" of a company: They are graphical displays of a company's unique identity, and through colors and fonts and images they provide essential information about a company that allows customers to identify with the company's core brand. Logos are also a shorthand way of referring to the company in advertising and marketing materials; they also provide an anchor point for the various fonts, colors and design choices in all other business marketing materials.

Design Principles
Good logos should be unique and comprehensible to potential customers. Although there are myriad choices for color, visual elements and typography, in general a logo should help convey some information about the company, or be designed in a way that gives some sense of meaning about the company or its industry. For example, cutting-edge firms and tech companies tend to have angular logos to convey speed, while service-oriented firms have rounded logos to provide a sense of service and trust.

Brand Identity
Logos are the chief visual component of a company's overall brand identity. The logo appears on stationery, websites, business cards and advertising. For that reason, a well-designed logo can contribute to business success, while a substandard logo can imply amateurishness and turn off potential customers. However, a logo should cohere well with other aspects of a company's visual presentation: No logo, however well designed, can look good when surrounded by contradictory graphical elements or inconsistent fonts. This is why a logo is the basic unit of a larger brand identity that includes company fonts, colors and document-design guidelines.

Return on Investment
As consumers grow to know, like and trust a specific brand, they are more likely to respond positively to successive encounters with a logo--potentially leading to increased sales or improved mind share within the target market. In addition, a well-designed logo implies a degree of professionalism and competence that could help steer potential new clients toward selecting the business rather than a competitor with no or substandard logos.

Common Mistakes
Small businesses often play it fast-and-loose with logos, paying insufficient attention to their proper size and positioning and surrounding them with materials--including clipart--that compete with them visually. Avoid re-creating different types of logos for specific purposes (e.g., letterhead and business cards) or having similar-but-not-identical versions for print and online purposes.

One of the most surprising things when you look at small businesses is how many of them don't have a website. You would think that in this day and age everybody would know how important a website is for all businesses. Clearly that is not the case. Any business that does not have a website is missing out on one of the most powerful marketing tools available to them.

The main reason that it is important for businesses to have a website is how people are likely to find you. These days most people will go online and research products and companies before they make a purchase, if you don't have a website you are missing out on all of this potential business. Even if people don't buy your product online they are still likely to research it online so you have to have a website so these people can learn about your business.

A website is also important because it helps you establish credibility as a business. Most people just assume that you have a website since the vast majority of businesses do, at least the vast majority of big companies do. There are actually still quite a few small businesses that don't have a website and without one this is exactly what they will remain. If you don't have a website that you can refer people to potential customers are going to assume that you are a small time company that does not take their business seriously. Once you establish this reputation it is going to be hard to make sales.

A website will not only give you credibility but it will also help to give the impression that your company is bigger and more successful than it may actually be. One of the great things about the internet is that the size of your company does not really matter. There is no reason that you can't get your site to rank in Google ahead of a large multinational competitor and funnel off some of their traffic. This is a big part of the reason that a website is even more important for a small business than a big one, it tends to level the playing field.

Clearly there are still a lot of small businesses that do not have websites, there are various reasons for this but mostly it comes down to the belief that they are expensive. It is rather surprising how much small business owners believe a website will cost them. In truth a website can be built for very little money and if you are on a tight budget you can even get free websites. Remember you don't need a giant ten thousand page website for your business, just a simple site that tells people about your company and your products will be more than enough.

Ang ginawa ko, nagapply ako online, tapos after 5 days kinuha ko yung card ko sa BPI branch na pinili ko as pick up branch. Dito ako sa Bulacan and nareceived ng BPI Malolos yung delivery after 3 days lang.

Kaso may problema ako ngayon, how to check My ePrepaid MasterCard balance and how to reload My ePrepaid MasterCard.

Nakita ko and sinabi ng tita ko na manager sa BPI, mageenroll daw ulit para makapagonline balance checking and online reloading.

Nakapagenroll na ako kahapon (I printed and signed the Enrollment Form + 1 valid ID) and ngayon pupunta ako sa BPI Branch para malaman ang proseso.

Update ko yung post ko na ito later.

Okay! I'm back. Ganito ang nangyari pumunta ako sa BPI branch and binigay yung requirements (Enrollment Form with signature and 1 valid ID) then sila na ang nag-setup and nagactivate nito.

I checked my BPI Express Online Account now I can check my balance and reload my My ePrepaid online!

To Sum It Up:

  1. Enroll My ePrepaid Card Online
  2. Print Your Application Form and photocopy 1 Valid ID
  3. Wait for 5 days (pero pwede mo tawagan yung branch na pinili mo after 3 days baka nasa bank na nila)
